Estel Ortega Vázquez (Barcelona) is an architect from ETSAB (UPC).
She has taught architecture since 2008, both at ETSAB and the School of Architecture, and has participated in workshops and studios with RCR, Tony Fretton, and Andrea Deplazes.​
She co-founded Cubus Taller d’Arquitectura in 2003 and 15515 Arquitectura in 2017.
She has also curated exhibitions, including RCR. Dream and Nature at the 17º Venice Biennale.​
Her work has won several awards, such as the Ajac X Prize for A’Bodega and the Emporia Prize for the Chillida exhibition.​
Since 2009, she has worked with Roca as a content advisor and has collaborated with figures like Ferran Adrià and the Chillida Foundation. From 2017 to 2023, she worked with RCR Arquitectes, leading the Sants Station project.
Since 2023, she is Head of Design at EliA - OAB, focusing on international projects.
